Deeply fruity, like plum compote: lots of skin-contact here. A little bit aggressive and rasping on the palate, but the style is a fascinating one in its depth and exuberance; you'll even find some tannins. Very clean, with no deviant notes. Serve chilled but drink as a red, like a red Sancerre. Would you guess it was Pinot Gris? I'm not sure.
