This has long been one of Majestic's best value Chilean reds: a Syrah made by masters when it comes to value, Luís Felipe Edwards, from cool-climate Aconcagua fruit. It manages to be both refined and full-flavoured, with a depth of red and black fruits on the nose, plus savoury hints of bacon, black olives and pepper. There's a lovely freshness to the palate, and volume too. This has guts, and would pair well with robust meat dishes. (Mix-six price: £12.99)
