Bright and juicy Pinot Noir from one of Chile's big names (Cono Sur, part of Concha y Toro), which was founded in the early 1990s and has grown to become the country's third largest exporter of bottled wine. Its 20 Barrels Pinot is 14% in alcohol and spent 14 months in oak (70% in French oak barrels and 30% in foudres), but wears it lightly, characterised by fleshy, sweet strawberry, plum and black cherry fruit and gentle tannins. Even better after 15-20 minutes in the glass.
