This is a standout white in Majestic's revamped Definition range, made by experienced winemaker Jean-Claude Mas. A great alternative to regional-level white Burgundy, this Chardonnay is bright and expressive, bursting with aromas and flavours of juicy lemons and white flowers. There's also texture, from malolactic fermentation, three months of lees contact and then eight months in oak (70% French, 30% American). Easy to enjoy and great value. Mix-six price: £11.99.
