Sagesse, Rouge, Languedoc, Pays d'Oc, France, 2018

90
Tasted by: Amy Wislocki
Made by British wine merchant Mark Savage MW, this cracking find is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. It’s food-friendly and fresh, with brambly fruit and herbs. His aim is to make an upmarket house wine, and he’s succeeded. The blanc is also good value.
