Even by Greek standards, Dafni is a pretty obscure grape variety, revived by Crete's Lyrarakis family in the 1980s. The name means 'laurel' in Greek and there is a definite bay leaf character to this unoaked white. Fresh and leafy, with a herby profile, citrus notes, and an almost peppery twist on the finish. A great discovery wine.
