Tokaj's dry whites are becoming far better known, thanks to their rising quality and versatility. This dry Furmint with a touch of residual sugar (8g/L) is made by the Bai family from vineyards in the heart of the region, in the foothills of the Carpathian mountains. The soils here are volcanic, and give the wine a delicate minerality, which is allied to juicy pear, peach and citrus flavours. Generous, juicy fruit character, and modest alcohol.
