This Piedmontese DOCG white is made from the Cortese grape, and is a great food wine, crisp, aromatic and peachy. It's unoaked, but it rests on its lees in stainless steel tanks after fermentation until being bottled in the spring following harvest. Green-gold in the glass, it's bone dry with firm peach and hawthorn aromas. There's a good structure and spicy weight in the mouth. Would be delicious with a light summer meal of fritto misto or simply grilled fish.
