Terre de Priori, Brunello di Montalcino, Tuscany, Italy 2013

This 2013 vintage Brunello is a treat, offering the typicity of Sangiovese from this Tuscan region, with added interest from the evolution. Made by a large co-operative, and aged for two years in large Slavonian oak, it's supremely food friendly, with bright acidity and dusty red fruits. Soft and well balanced, with depth, richness of fruit and supple tannins.
