It was interesting to taste this alongside Kylie's very popular Prosecco Rosé. They're both from the 2021 vintage, and both have 12g/L residual sugar. Kylie's has a touch more Pinot Noir in the blend (15% as opposed to 10%), and is £3.50 more expensive than this Tesco own-label version. For me, the Tesco wine was the more appealing of the two, despite being a fair bit cheaper. It's produced by the Maschio family winery, which has been making Prosecco since the 1970s (though Prosecco Rosé only launched as a category in the region in November 2020). A pretty pale pink in the glass, it's fresh and fruity with a lovely fragrance, and flavours, of redcurrant, strawberry and stone fruit. Lots to enjoy at the price.
