This Tinta Roriz (aka Tempranillo) is a great value, everyday red. Named after Lisbon's central postcode, the bold label gives a clue to the style of wine inside: it's modern and upfront, with bags of ripe, fleshy dark red and black fruit flavours, plus a hint of sun dried tomato savouriness. Aged in American and French oak for six months, it's nonetheless all about primary fruit and pure enjoyment – aromatic, spicy and seductive. Great choice for a BBQ.
