Talented winemaker Chris Alheit is behind this Exhibition Chenin Blanc, from vineyards in Hemel-in-Aarde (offcuts from his Alheits Vineyards range). Part barrel-fermented, the 2021 vintage matured a little longer on fine lees than previous vintages, lending a rich, toasty, leesy character to the aromas and flavours. This has impressive depth and roundness, and would make a good alternative to a New World Chardonnay.
