Most English sparkling wines are made by the traditional (Champagne) method. New at Majestic, this non-vintage fizz from Kent is made by the less expensive and labour-intensive Charmat method, like most Prosecco. It's arguably pricey for a wine that isn't made by the traditional method, but it's still a cheaper way to access English sparkling wine and offers floral, fresh and summery fruit flavours, rounded out with 12g/L residual sugar (which is at the top end of the Brut level). Green and yellow apples, pears, juicy lime citrus and English hedgerow, this organic blend of the three Champagne grapes makes for an approachable, fruit-forward summer sip. Mix-six price: £15
