There's no information on the grapes in this latest vintage release of The Society's English White, but there must be some Bacchus in there – it's fresh, herby and aromatic, with some pink grapefruit, lemon zest and nettle, hedgerow character. Less pungent than some other Bacchus wines on the high street, and cracking value too. Made by Three Choirs in Gloucestershire. Try it as an alternative to Sauvignon Blanc.
