The entry-level Tannat is one of three from this producer sold by The Wine Society. As such, it's not complex, but the high score reflects the value for money. Perfect everyday drinking, it has lovely unoaked, crunchy black fruit with a peppery edge. Notes of salted plums and softer tannins than you might expect to find in a Tannat. Fresh and modern in style, this showcases just how far Uruguay winemaking has come over the past decade.
