Andrew Jefford

Andrew Jefford contributes a column every month to Decanter magazine, and has written the widely-followed Jefford on Monday blog for Decanter.com and DecanterChina.com. Jefford has been writing and broadcasting about wine since the 1980s, winning many awards for his work. He now lives with his family in the Languedoc, close to Pic St Loup.

Michaela Morris

An international wine writer and educator based in Vancouver, specialising in Italian wine. A regular contributor to Decanter and Meininger's Wine Business International, she was among the first certified Italian Wine Experts through Vinitaly International Academy and holds the WSET Diploma, with over 20 years' experience in the wine trade.

Charles Curtis

Can I switch between Premium and Print later?

Yes, at any renewal - we'll pro-rate the difference. Email subscriptions@decanter.com or change formats in your account dashboard.

Is there a free trial?

No. We've chosen to lead with value rather than a trial mechanic. If a subscription isn't right for you within thirty days, we'll refund you in full.

What's the simplest difference between the two?

Premium is the full digital experience - every tasting note, every article, every issue of the digital magazine, plus tools for collectors. Print is the monthly magazine, posted to your door - same writers, same standards, a slower reading pace.

How does billing work?

Premium is billed monthly at £14.00, annually at £99.00, or £175.00 every 24 months. Print opens with a trial offer - £3.00 for your first three issues, then £59.99 every 12 months / 12 issues on a rolling subscription. You can also pay upfront for one year at £64.49, a 23% saving on the £83.88 shop price, or two years at £119.99, a 28% saving on the £167.76 shop price. All prices in GBP. You can cancel at any renewal point.

I already use CellarTracker. Will Premium integrate?

Yes. Premium includes a direct sync with CellarTracker, so your existing cellar data appears alongside Decanter tasting notes automatically.

Is Premium content available offline?

Premium articles and the digital magazine can be downloaded for offline reading via the Decanter mobile app. The tasting-note database requires a connection to keep search results current.
