A handful of Bordeaux chateaux, including several properties belonging to the J-P Moueix stable, have released their prices.
Chateau Chantalouette and Chateau Plince, both in Pomerol, are being offered by UK merchant Lay & Wheeler for £159 and £375 per case respectively.
St Emilion Grand Cru Classe Chateau La Serre is on sale for £375 per case, and Puy-Blanquet, a St Emilion Grand Cru, is £126.
All four are from Libourne negociants J-P Moueix.
Also released is Chateau Montaiguillon from Montagne St Emilion at £87 per case.
Decanter’s Right Bank critic James Lawther MW said of Pomerol that it was enjoying what was clearly ‘an outstanding year…certainly for the leaders and those in hot pursuit, one that ranks with 2005, 2006 and 2009.’
