Chanson is a much improved negociant house, with a strong range of 2008 whites and competitive prices.One star was Chassagne-Montrachet Chenevottes:Exuberant spicy apricot nose. Juicy, concentrated, and spicy, with energy and punch and excellent length. 17.5. £288 IB.The white Beaune Clos des Mouches also very fine. As is the red:Ripe elegant cherry nose. Suave, juicy, and concentrated, with abundant fruit and good tannic structure. 17. £260 IB.Stephen Brook
