Decanter writers Jane Anson, Margaret Rand, Jamie Goode, Jim Budd and Stephen Brook have all been nominated for the prestigious Glenfiddich Food and Drink Awards 2007.
Anson, Goode, and Rand, who contribute regularly to Decanter magazine and decanter.com are all shortlisted for Wine Writer of the Year, and Jim Budd is nominated for the Independent Spirit Award, for his campaigning website www.investdrinks.org.
Decanter contributing editor Stephen Brook has been nominated for Best Drink Book with Bordeaux – Medoc and Graves, which won the Andre Simon Award in February this year.
Winners will be selected by a judges’ panel including Andrew Jefford and Sarah Jane Evans MW, as well as Bruce Poole of Chez Bruce, Restaurant Magazine editor Joe Warwick, food writer Diana Henry, and food and drink writer Richard Ehrlich.
The awards ceremony takes place on 14 May at Sketch restaurant in London
