The Rocco Venezia rose is produced from the grape variety of Pinot nero and Raboso, from the vignards within the Veneto region, North Italy. The perlage is very fine and abundant. Its rose colour is reminiscent of rose petals with a touch of pomogranite.
The bouquet is flowery with aromas reminiscent of raspberries And in particular with hints of cranberries and cherries.
The taste is full and warm with distinct tendance to fruit on the palate. While elegant and delicate it has an intense fruity flavour.

Delamain EXTRA de Grande Champagne is the perfect expression of an old Cognac from Grande Champagne: Selected old Grande Champagne cognacs that have each been aged separately before a further two years of ‘marriage’ in well seasoned Limousin oak casks.
Presented in an original, luxury decanter, the shield of which comes from an original plate made by Henry Delamain in 1762 at his delftware factory in Dublin for the wedding of his nephew James Delamain to Marie Ranson.
EXTRA is an existing Cognac category superior to the X.O. Delamain’s EXTRA is exceptionally rare and comes exclusively from the Premier Cru area -Grande Champagne.
The price: Delamain Extra Cognac presented in a luxury decanter has a suggested retail price of £150.00

The details:
Crusted is a rare, traditional style of port and Fonseca is one of the few firms that produce it. Fonseca Crusted is a blend of full-bodied wines bottled with no filtration and then cellared for three years before being released for sale.
As the name indicates, it will form a ‘crust’ or sediment in the bottle and should be decanted before being served. The formation of this ‘crust’ is a natural process that occurs in the finest full-bodied ports. It is an indication that the wine will continue to improve in bottle and develop its aroma and character with age.
Fonseca Crusted is selected from the finest Cima Corgo ports and the supply is limited.

The details: Argentinean wine importer Vinos Wines will launch the award-winning Viniterra, Omnium and Terra brands into the UK this Autumn.
The Viniterra range comes from the wineries’ fine wine range and includes a Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Malbec, Merlot, Carmenere and Pinot Grigio.
The Terra range includes Malbec, Merlot and Cabernet red wine varieties, which are deep ruby red and full bodied. The white wine selection includes a Viognier and a Chardonnay.
The Omnium range offers the young varieties of the winery, with great fruity character and a well-defined profile. The range offers a Tempranillo, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot and Chardonnay.
The UK launch of Vinos Wines is supported initially by trade and consumer press, to follow by a television advertising campaign on ITV1, ITV2 and Sky channels and nation-wide consumer sampling activity is in place for Autumn and Winter this year.

The details: Champagne Bollinger, one of the few remaining independent and family-owned and run Champagne houses, is delighted to announce the launch of its latest prestige cuvée, La Grande Année 1999.
Produced only in exceptional harvests, which in this case included extreme conditions of heavy rainfall and high temperatures, La Grande Année is Bollinger’s interpretation of a vintage and the expression of its unique style and traditional wine making techniques. The 1999 vintage of La Grande Année promises to live up to its reputation of being one of the finest vintage Champagnes available.
The price: A complex blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, La Grande Année 1999 has a suggested retail price of £60 per bottle.

The details: Casa Lapostolle, the family-owned producer of premium Chilean wine, has launched its innovative new premium Chilean wine, BOROBO, to the UK trade. The wine is a blend of Bordeaux, Rhone and Burgundy varietals from the 2002 vintage, and takes its name from the famous French regions (‘BO’ from Bordeaux, ‘RO’ from Rhone and ‘BO’ from Bourgogne) from where the classic grapes used within the blend originated.
Casa Lapostolle believe that it is vitally important to be innovative and push the boundaries of Chile’s premium wine potential. In creating BOROBO, they used fruit specially selected from Casa Lapostolle’s premium single vineyard sites in Requinoa, Apalta and Casablanca. The aim is to allow each component to bring the personality of its individual terroir to the wine, making the final blend a harmonious orchestration that encompasses the best of Chile in one bottle.
The 2002 vintage of BOROBO is composed of:
35% Syrah (Las Kuras Vineyard, Requinoa), 20% Cabernet Sauvignon (Apalta Vineyard)
20% Carmenère from (Apalta Vineyard), 15% Pinot Noir from Atalayas Vineyard (Casablanca)
10% Merlot (Apalta Vineyard)

The details: POP Safari is the brightly-coloured, animal-themed third collection in Champagne Pommery’s limited edition POP art series, and is now available in the UK.
Up-and-coming Japanese artist Takahiro Okawa’s set of six jungle-inspired designs were chosen for the 20cl mini bottles by Vranken Pommery president Fran&cced;ois Vranken in the champagne house’s annual competition, which sees a different artist’s work go into production every year.
