As amicable as a divorce can be, harsh words and hurt feelings are inevitable, and when I asked for half of the cellar he retorted that ‘he did not buy it for me in the first place’. I guess in his estimation I was only worth one bottle. I received half the silver, half the crystal – and a single bottle – a 1989 Château Langoa Barton. Should I keep it? Drink it? Smash it? Your advice is greatly appreciated.
