The 41st year of Vino Slovenija Gornja Radgona, the most influential verification of wine quality in Slovenia, has given the wine world 11 new champions and new international competition. See the winners here.
As a big introduction to the events of the 53rd International Agricultural-Food Fair AGRA, in Gornja Radgona, Slovenia from 22nd to 27th August, the 41th Vino Slovenija Gornja Radgona Awards were held at the end of July, with the evaluation of five wines from organically produced grapes.
The wines were evaluated by four commissions of renowned Slovenian oenologists with guests from abroad. 137 growers had their wines evaluated in both rounds, with a total of 418 samples of wines from six countries: Slovenia, Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Macedonia and Hungary.

Winemaker of the year will be announced on 25th August 2015, on the Day of Winegrowers and Winemakers, at the Vino Slovenija Gornja Radgona presentation of awards at the 53rd International Agriculture – Food Fair AGRA.
