The job

The Decanter World Wine Awards is the world’s most highly respected and authoritative wine competition. Decanter is looking for a hands-on individual with in-depth wine knowledge to manage all wine entered into the awards.

Responsibilities will include:

• Categorising all wines entered
• Managing the team in the warehouse to categorise and check all bottles
• Managing the wine during judging week
• Collating the results
• Expert wine knowledge – minimum qualification WSET diploma
• A great team player
• Extremely organised
• Absolute attention to detail
• Always remains calm and focussed under pressure
• Logical
• Computer literate – especially Excel
