Pinot Noir fans have a fair bit of choice in this New World Wine Tour, with two examples from Chile and two from New Zealand to choose from. Both of the Chilean Pinots are from cool-climate Leyda, but this one is the brighter, crunchier and lighter in body of the two, vivid in the glass and made in a fruit-forward, perfumed red berry style. There's good acidity here, and it's good value for a grape which is notoriously finicky to cultivate.
