Rather herbaceous nose. Fairly rich and juicy, less green than the nose though the tannins are quite hard. Lacks flesh and generosity. Pinched. Medium length, dry finish.

Attractive nose, an encyclopedia of summer hedgerow flavours, unabashed and heady; the palate is gloriously uncomplicated, the pleasure principle coming first with a spicy dexterity and fulsome tannic safety curtain.

Shiny; well assembled nose – good style in the black fruit, light perfume, is bright, plus an earthy note. Charcoal, smoky intensity in the black fruit; its oak adds to it, gives it extra thrust. Ends completely, smoky. Food best.
