Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay

Pale gold. Quite a muted aromatic presence here; quiet notes of cereal grain and a little cool lime. Tangy, vivid, lively on the palate, with ample weight despite the lower alcohol, and balanced acidity. Stylistically well-judged, though understated throughout.

Sweet peaches on nose, delicate clean fresh palate, lovely freshness and soft well balanced acidity, lovely flowing wine with a touch of brioche on the end, evolves in the mouth.

Pronounced and mineral with ripe red citrus fruit character, crisp acidity and long mineral aftertaste.
