Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Intriguing scents of lavender and rue, qualifying the light black cherry fruit. Some crushed kernel, too. Very fruity and bright and open and tangy on the palate. Not hugely subtle, but very true to the varietal ideal.

Floral and exciting on the nose, toasted cherries on palate and a balance of rich brioche crumbs. Silky and long, a wine to age.

Pronounced, elegant and complex with notes of aromatic herbs and vanilla oak. Structured and intense with a spicy character and long sour cherries aftertaste. Needs time.
