Following huge success in New York earlier this year, join us this Autumn for Decanter’s flagship Encounter for an iconic wine tasting experience in the heart of the capital.

Taste over six hundred fine wines and meet the world’s best wine producers all under one roof.

This year’s festivities also marks the 25th anniversary of our Fine Wine Encounters, and we’re celebrating with an extraordinary programme you won’t want to miss.

Head of Marketing

Alex Layton joined Decanter in October 2018 as Head of Marketing. Alex has over a decade’s experience in the trade via a well-trodden route starting at Majestic Wine before moving into the marketing and communications side of the industry. He has run numerous high-profile campaigns for global wine brands and regions. He holds an MBA from the University of Exeter Business School and is a graduate of the WSET BACK programme - he is also completing his WSET Diploma in Wines.
