John Grant, former chief executive of Constellation Wines Australia, has left the company.
His departure, the seventh among key staff this year, was announced in an internal company email last week.
It comes two months after he was moved from the top Australian job to one of 13 executive positions reporting to the new president of Constellation’s Australian business, Troy Christensen.
Grant, 48, joined Constellation Wines Australia in January 2007 from Jackson Wines Estates in California where he had been chief of staff and chief marketing officer, responsible for production and mergers and acquisitions.
In Australia, he had held mainly marketing positions with Foster’s, Tasmanian Breweries, Tooheys Brewing in Sydney, Lion Nathan in London and Penfold’s and Southcorp in Australia.
Grant had previously been president of subsidiary Kendall Jackson Wines.
