Bright ruby red with purple flecks in the glass. The spicy, oaky nose also features ripe red and dark fruit along with liquorice and graphite. On the palate, it’s opulent and dense with compact tannins before the long, powerful finish. After 18 months of ageing in barrels from the DBR Lafite cooperage – 85% of which were first use – this Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon blend made with grapes from selected vineyards in the cooler regions of Mendoza.
