Has an intriguingly herbal, mentholated profile with hints of tobacco, blackcurrant and mocha. The ripe red fruit flavours are delicious on the palate, while flow is velvety with polished tannins before the fresh, minty finish. A rainy harvest season made Caro 2014 one of the lightest since Catena Zapata and DBR Lafite first partnered up to produce this wine with grapes from the Uco Valley and Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza. Aged for 18 months in oak.
