This red is a purplish/ruby hue in the glass with aromas of mountain herbs, black pepper, cardamom, liquorice and ripe black fruit. On the palate, it’s indulgent and flavourful with a substantial body and firm tannins. The finish is fragrant and elegant. With an alluring fragrance and elegance, the Caro 2015 is an 85% to 15% assemblage of Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon combining grapes from Paraje Altamira in the Uco Valley and Luján de Cuyo. Aged for 18 months in DBR Lafite barrels.
