This old-vine Syrah has always had a more savoury edge and an eye on being a wine to lay down. Coming from what is believed to be the oldest Syrah vines in Argentina, planted in 1976 with a massal selection from the Rhône valley, Luca is a classy, textured wine. Notes of charcoal, black cherries and meat are accompanied by graphite-like tannins and spice.
