Argentina

A cold and dry year which is, along with 2016, one of Susana Balbo's current favourites. Similar in character to 2020 with a rich, concentrated palate allied to restraint on the nose and very precise, fresh lemon/lime acidity, which acts as a lovely counterweight to the plush texture. Has a hint of pepper on the finish, akin to a top Gruner Veltliner. Still seems remarkably youthful and fresh for Torrontes - there's no hurry to drink this.
