<p>This garage winery was built in 2016 and focusses on local grapes and traditional techniques like ageing in karas and skin-contact whites, all with a modern touch brought from winemaker Artem Parseghyan&#39;s studies in France and Germany. Using selected Areni grapes from the best plots at over 1,250m and aged for 14 months in local oak, it&rsquo;s plummy with notes of liquorice alongside spice and balsam overtones. It&rsquo;s well-structured ,with supple red fruit and some dried cherry leading to a firm finish.</p>
