A typically dry and chilly winter meant drought-abating irrigation lines could alleviate thirsty vines and enable excellent fruit set. Some rain threatened, but no downpours were recorded at harvest. This is a dusky, dirt road red colour, ochre almost. Secondary scents dominate yet enchant, displaying red and black fruit compotes and a note of soy. It's still so silky and sapid, driven by energy and acid. Fine tannins are a reminder of the power it once knew.
