Owned by accomplished winemaker Briony Hoare, Beach Road Wines is dedicated to Italian native grapes. The Greco ripens at the end of April - very late for Australia - but manages to retain its acidity. Hoare combines the free-run juice with the press juice for complexity and allows some of the wine to go through malolactic fermentation. 

The result is a broad, viscous, mouthfilling white with a phenolic component yet ultimately vibrant. Apricot, honey and melon ooze from this exuberantly expressive, moderate-alcohol gem.
