From a 0.7-hectare sandy block in Beautiful View planted in 1970. Translucent ruby, with vivid red cherry and raspberry fruit and an engaging rasp of sandpapery tannins.  Imperial Leather earth, musk and spice, red liquorice and herbal, touch medicinal, nuances emerge. Naturally fermented and aged in old oak hogsheads, ceramic egg (with 120 days skin contact) and stainless steel, with whole berries and 20% whole bunch.  Delicate yet intense.
