<p>This vintage produced luscious fruit but, finding early flavour development, Chester Osborn picked earlier than usual. It has delicious detail and lift, with iodine, pepper, florals and a long, tight seam of fresh blackcurrant and mulberry fruit. Dynamic, sinewy, earthy tannins make for a long tapering finish with a bloody mineral tang. Part fermented on lees in new and used French and American oak barriques.</p>
