Arinto and Malvasia fermented separately on skins for two weeks, before being combined on skins for another three weeks then pressed to old oak. The aromatics jump from the glass: ripe pineapple, canned apricots, candied peel, fresh tarragon and mint, and throw in a handful of cranberries and a whiff of nutmeg and ginger too. This is a fairground ride of a wine. The palate is luscious and generous with a full mouthfeel of macerated fruits, all underpinned by a freshness and bright acidity. Complete phenolics and buttery hints of malo cry 'more please'.
