Plump and jolly, this is surprisingly sweet, uncomplicated Shiraz from a pair of Eden Valley vineyards. With a fulsome nose of violets over bright redcurrant and mulberry, the flavours are plush and voluptuous from its sassy entry all through the mid palate, but then there’s a lick of shale and granite as it quickly draws to a tight finish.
