Although the acidity is bracing and creates a firm backbone for this wine, there’s more than enough lemon and lime sherbet fruit and crisp green apple notes on the palate to provide balance. There’s complexity here, too, derived from talcy minerality and a suggestion of spiced richness on the long finish. Great energy and precision. Should age well. Harvested 26 February-1 March.
