Although the ripeness levels are similar to those of a Hunter Valley Semillon, there’s clearly more ripeness and weight to this Eden Valley take on the grape, with a roundness to the mid-palate and aromatics that tend towards slightly under-ripe pineapple and lemon zest. The acidity is bright, but harmoniously integrated into the wine. The finish is relatively modest in length. Harvested 24 March.
