Named after a hill that rises above the vineyards of the Eden Valley, the grapes for this wine are sourced from a small group of local growers. Although notionally dry, there seems to be a trace of residual sugar, which broadens out the mid-palate and provides balance for the vivid acidity. Classic Eden Valley Riesling, with pronounced notes of citrus fruits (lemon, lime) tinged with a suggestion of honeysuckle and lemongrass. Harvested 21 February-6 March.
