Winemaker Taras Ochota is part of an enclave of natural winemakers in the Basket Ranges sub-region of Adelaide Hills. His love of music is reflected in his wines: 'Texture Like Sun' is a line from The Stranglers' song Golden Brown and it's the perfect description of this light and summery red. It's a clever patchwork blend of Pinot Noir, Mourvedre, Grenache, Gewürztraminer, Gamay, Fragola and Chardonnay, kicking off with fresh aromas of redcurrant, raspberry, pomegranate and rose. The silky palate has more pomegranate plus red apple, with mouthwatering acidity and a super-crisp finish. Uncertified organic; vegetarian and vegan.
