Focused work in the winery has produced an entirely different type of Eden Valley Riesling, still respecting its mineral core, but finding Germanic inspiration in the way it captures expansive floral aromas and a complex mid-palate textural roll. Honeysuckle sweetless flies over lemon blossom with a dab of marmalade, but then a pucker of lime juice and lemongrass take the upper hand as the long acid line draws it to a sharp bite on the finish. Released at AU$40.
