In 2017, a cool, wet spring led into an early, dry summer and autumn. The introduction of a wild yeast component into the entry level Riesling (60% in 2017) makes for a more savoury, textural nose and palate, with a floral, hoppy lift and savoury lamb fat nuances. The classic fresh lime juice and lemon pith flavours assert themselves through the palate, leading to a long finish with a piquant salty character.
