This was a mild, warm and dry vintage until refreshing rain in late January. With a year in magnum, the wild yeast component (50%) of this wine is not as pronounced or savoury, yet the lees ageing makes for an accessible dry Riesling. It has a pretty nose and palate with floral touches and talcum powder notes, accompanied by a very harmonious acidity. The chalky minerality and succulent lychee and grapefruit flavours show great regional typicity. Youthfully sleek and poised.
