From the Tiers Vineyard’s oldest, highest vines planted in 1979 on thinner, rockier soils, rising to 450m. Classy oak (33% new) and focused acidity buff the fruit to a shine, propelling the exceptionally, long, focused palate. Terrific intensity of white nectarine, with fig, oatmeal, cashew, cedar and vanilla nuances. Apple, bay leaf, flint and matcha tea hints emerge with time in the glass. Polished and precise, with not a hair out of place.
