Quintet is a Bordeaux-style wine that's revered by many Australian tasters and drinkers, but I confess it has often left me underwhelmed, and this 2015 is no exception. The  nose is poised, displaying sweet ripe red fruits and a touch of boiled sweets. It's discreet but concentrated, yet lacks some weight and density, and while the acidity is delicate, it lacks some force and persistence.
